Hannah Eccles

Hannah is an Intellectual Property professional with over a decade of experience across IP operations, formalities, process improvement, legal technology, and IP management systems.

Her career has spanned private practice firms, operational and leadership roles, and IP software development, providing her with a unique perspective on how IP teams function and the challenges they face. She has extensive experience supporting UK, European, PCT, and international patent portfolios, alongside trade mark and design administration, and has worked closely with attorneys, in-house teams, software developers, and business leaders throughout her career.

As an EPAC, CIPA and CITMA qualified professional, Hannah has always been passionate about improving the operational side of intellectual property. Over the years, she repeatedly encountered the same challenges across organisations: processes that had evolved without clear structure, underutilised systems, increasing workloads, and teams spending valuable time on administrative tasks that could be simplified or streamlined.

Clearflow IP Consulting was established to help address these challenges. Hannah recognised that many organisations needed practical operational support and specialist expertise but did not always require a full-time resource or large-scale consultancy engagement. By combining IP knowledge with experience in systems, workflows, and process improvement, she helps clients fill in gaps, identify inefficiencies, implement practical solutions, and build stronger operational foundations.

Today, Hannah works with law firms, in-house IP teams, IP owners, and legal technology businesses to improve efficiency, optimise processes, support system implementations, and deliver projects that create lasting operational value. Her approach is focused on providing practical, commercially minded solutions that help IP teams work smarter, reduce risk, and create capacity for growth.
